Rhonda Gillespie Raney, Esq. has enjoyed a diverse and rewarding career in private practice as a trial lawyer, specializing in insurance/tort, real estate and employment litigation. She is currently a college professor, an attorney mediator, and a real estate broker. She has also served as a legal consultant and trainer for for-profit and non-profit corporations in the areas of employment law, organizational development, and compliance.
Across her career, Rhonda has held many executive leadership positions including Assistant Executive Director of the NC Bar Association, Executive Director of the NC Justice Center, and President/CEO of the NC Association of Economic Development Center. She served two NC governors in executive cabinet positions.
Ms. Raney earned her undergraduate and law school degrees at The College of William and Mary in Virginia and attended Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University for graduate work in education policy. She is an active member of the Florida Bar Association, NC Bar Association, NC Association of Realtors, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. (Sigma Tau Omega Chapter), Transitions Life Center (Hospice), and Community Vision, Inc. Rhonda is married to Victor Boone, Esq. and the mother of one son. She enjoys skiing, water sports, knitting, and pottery and reading.
